The Ministries of HPC

At Heritage we take seriously the Biblical warning that a faith which manifests itself as simply an individual morality is not the Gospel proclaimed by Christ. Instead, Jesus commissioned His church to be about the business of spreading his kingdom through proclamation of the Gospel (evangelism) and application of the Gospel (discipleship).

The Scriptures teach that the work of Christ–his life, death, and resurrection–ushers in not only our salvation and reconciliation to God, but also looks forward to a great renewal of all creation—the people and the planet. The Lord is making all things new through the power of the Gospel; a better world is promised—a New Heavens and New Earth, and we are committed to demonstrating the reality of that coming, better world through every aspect of our ministry.  Therefore, as those who have been forgiven and reconciled to God through the Gospel, we are compelled to proclaim that Gospel and to demonstrate that Gospel in feeding the hungry, procuring justice for the weak—born and unborn, and caring for the good Earth that God has given to his creatures.

It is our hope that to an area that sees our faith as quaint and irrelevant, we demonstrate the significance of the Gospel.
